Creating a home for aging-in-place requires striking the perfect balance between intentionality and aesthetics, and this Oak Hill residence embodies just that. To accommodate the homeowner’s love of frequent hosting and cooking, we doubled the house in size by opening the main floor and entirely reconfiguring the kitchen layout.
We utilized a combination of sustainable and natural materials, including maple slab cabinets, dark shaker-style doors, and floating glass shelves, to provide a beautifully welcoming environment.
Luxury appliances were carefully selected for efficiency, safety, and of course, style. The oversized cooktop blends seamlessly into the sleek quartzite countertop, while the black Felmac hood acts as a striking focal point. The lighting is controlled via Alexa, ensuring effortless ambiance for any occasion.
