Out with the old and in with the new. This family was tired of their outdated builder-grade kitchen and desired a custom, charming, and beautiful space. Their vision? An updated traditional look with clean lines, abundant countertop space, and high-end appliances.
However, working with the space presented its unique challenges. Three walls that couldn’t move and a load-bearing side wall meant that our team had to get creative.
After removing the corner pantry, closing one of the windows to center the stove, and extending the kitchen to the wasted space, the results were breathtaking. Brazilian quartz Taj Mahal countertops marry the natural walnut and white cabinets for a sophisticated, timeless, and elegant combination.
The high-end appliances provide function and ease, while the custom vent hood acts as a textural focal point. After hosting family and friends during the holiday season, it’s safe to say the family is thrilled with their new space.
