Meet the Founder
Anna Gibson
Founder and Lead Designer
Anna is an NKBA-certified kitchen and bathroom designer with over 15 years of experience in residential construction. Hailing from Israel, she has been based in Reston for the past 18 years.
Growing up with a civil engineer dad, Anna is no stranger to hard hats and construction sites. She enjoys every aspect of the design process, but her favorite part is being able to think outside the box and bring her clients the innovative and the unexpected.
In keeping with her international upbringing, Anna loves to travel around the world and collect new ideas for her design work. But her heart is at home in Reston, where she is committed to giving back to the community she loves. In 2019, she won a Community Hero Award for her work with the CORE Foundation. She also volunteers for the D.C. chapter of Team RWB.
Anna has been recognized by Northern Virginia, Virginia Living, and Houzz as one of the area’s best designers 3+ years in a row and was named a top design influencer by DesignHounds and Fixr. She has also received an NVBIA Blue Ribbon for best features in a custom-designed kitchen. Anna is the in-house design expert for the Natural Stone Institute and runs the local chapter office for the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
Gabrielle Keuper
Assistant Designer
Our design assistant, Gabrielle works directly with our design team, assisting with CAD drawings and elevations, material and product selections, managing our sample library, meeting with vendors, monitoring our projects' progress and timelines, and much more.
Gabrielle is a certified interior decorator and her goal is to become a certified NKBA Kitchen and Bath designer. Her growing knowledge and ambition to learn serves our team and clients immensely.
As a Native Restonian, Gabrielle is happy to live, work and play in Reston but always looking for the next adventure as she loves to immerse herself in culture and diversity through travel, food, and meeting new people.
Harley Gibson
Mascot
The newest member of the AKG team and the new mascot. Harley is a spirited Mini Goldendoodle that loved to greet everyone that comes to the studio, expecting lots of pets and kisses.
When he is not working hard at a photo shoot, you will find him running alongside his mommy, Anna, nibbling treats or just sleeping on the job.
